Effective Sept 1st, the Little Bear Donation Center, located at 1940 Sudderth (River Crossing), will begin its shutdown phase. This consists of, but may not be limited to, the following:
We will no longer be accepting in-kind donations. People who come with donations will be referred to local charities.
We will begin selling off items to anyone who wants them (fire survivors can still take them for free with their Little Bear voucher). Funds raised will go to the Little Bear Fire Relief Fund for survivors. The month of Sept each Thurs/Fri/Sat from 10-3 we will sell as much as possible. If you have groups that do benevolent work and would like some of the items, have them register with Margo at christianservices@live.com. Whatever is left at the end of Sept will be available to groups to come get the first two weeks of Oct. We will use the last two weeks in Oct to clear out leftover items and clean the building to turn back to leasing company Oct 31st.
We need helpers every Thurs/Fri/Sat in September to assist with the sale. Please have anyone available to help to contact Margo at the email address above or call 575-257-4381 between 9am and 4pm Mon-Thurs or 9a-noon on Fri. We will also need an abundance of Walmart bags. If anyone has extras, please take them to the donation center.
